Practicing people power, leveraging learning and the League's legacy.
ACTIONS:
Greater Los Angeles is one of the biggest and most diverse jurisdictions in the nation and likewise there is a great range to the actions and responsibilities of the committee. People power and joy are our fuel. We aim to be:
Trusted messengers – tabling to provide voter registration assistance and answer questions about the election process at schools, community centers, local events and more!
Dependable conveners – our Candidate Forums provides the public a chance to see and hear from their candidates with to-the-point questions selected by community partners and the committee.
Knowledgeable speakers – our Speakers Bureaus connects with the community in-person or virtually to present information about voting, election, and civic life.
